Ajarn Suthat began learning magical arts when he was ordained as a novice monk at Wat Chai Nam, which was under the guidance of Luang Pu Mon Ariyadhammoh, a revered monk from Laos known for his wisdom in meditation and psychic powers.
Before moving to the city of Loei for further study, Ajarn Suthat learned from Luang Por Suk Silasamphano, a renowned monk in the local community known for his expertise in various magical disciplines. Additionally, he studied with Luang Por Aon Ahingsako, a respected monk skilled in Sak Yant and magical spells, who had been trained in the tradition of the Rishi line from Laos.
During his studies in Sak Yant and magical spells, Ajarn Suthat also trained in meditation techniques under Luang Pu Boonsan Sangwaro at Wat Ban Na Lan Khao.
Subsequently, Luang Por Suk Silasamphano sent Ajarn Suthat to study the Dharma courses from the first to the highest level at Wat Phon Chai in Dan Sai District, Loei Province. During this time, he studied with Luang Por Maha Phan Silwisuttho at Wat Pa Naramit, completing his training in meditation and Vipassana over three Buddhist Lent periods, and reaching the highest level of Dharma study. He then had the opportunity to study Pali language with Phra Khru Chodok at Wat Mahathat, which marked a turning point in his journey as he met lay master Ajarn Thom from Nan Province, a model for the Sak Yant tradition of the Lanna style.
Ajarn Suthat later had the opportunity to study with Luang Por Pern Thitakuno at Wat Bang Pra, a well-known Sak Yant master in Nakhon Pathom Province, where he received instruction in various Sak Yant practices.
He also became a disciple of Luang Pu Tim Atthasanto at Wat Phra Khao in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and embarked on a pilgrimage across Myanmar and Laos, learning various magical arts, spells, and Thai-Lao inscriptions.
After his pilgrimage, he continued his studies with Luang Pu Khammee at Wat Tham Khuha Sawan in Ubon Ratchathani Province.
Ajarn Suthat furthered his magical education with Luang Por Piamp at Wat Tham Suea Leung in Lopburi Province, where he learned the art of Sak Yant, including the designs of the tiger, the tiger king, the tiger flying in the clouds, and the celestial tiger.
He also studied local charms and spells with Luang Pu Saeng, a venerable monk over 100 years old, renowned for his knowledge of the giant's spell, also known as the Maha Kalan spell.
In addition to his training in various magical spells and arts, Ajarn Suthat learned about love spells, business success, and the creation of sacred wax and holy water from Luang Por Ngen Yosotharo. This knowledge was acquired to help and show compassion to those in need.
Currently, Ajarn Suthat has been performing Sak Yant for his disciples for over 30 years, imparting his extensive knowledge and skills through detailed and intricate tattoos, traditionally applied with needles. This technique was inherited from Luang Por Pern.
